Skill Lab: Flexibility (Backbends) Levels 1-6+

This 90-minute backbending workshop will break down the components of a backbend including: spinal mobility and deep core control, shoulder mobility and stabilization, and hip extension. For each component, we’ll explore how to work with the breath, bones and joints, nerves, fascia, and muscles through processes of mobilization, isolation, integration, and function. During the last section of the workshop we’ll put everything together in bridges, flying cobras, and preparations for needle scale.
